There are certain elements that should be considered while developing a dental office design. First is the size of office which should be sufficient and comfortable for patients and staff while promoting active work flow. Then consider including a separate room for your staff and yourself to spend a bit relaxed time together. As all your staff will be reaching the place of sterile equipments and other stock (medicines, catalogues etc), keep the room for them in center space of your layout. Do not squeeze area from this place because the sterilization room requires area to move around.

While creating dental office design give focus on the labs that are used as rooms for treatment. These should be instantly accessible from the x-ray rooms because patients many times are asked to conduct x-rays during the treatment. Then make sure the labs are sealed with sound proof glass to avoid distraction both for patients and working doctors. Make a comfortable reception area with plush armchairs to give relaxation for waiting patients. As patient is often frightened with the treatment, hang some infomercial on the wall depicting simplicity of certain dental procedures. Make the complete area pleasant and welcoming to drive the fear in patient away.
